A confidential space to explore the thoughts,
feelings and challenges in your life
Hello, my name is Matt and welcome to my website. I am an Integrative – Relational therapist, offering a friendly, confidential and supportive space for you to talk about and work through your concerns and what may be troubling you.
My aim is to help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings around your current situation and to explore the events that brought you to where you are today.
I know how hard it can be to make that first call to ask for help from a therapist you don’t know. As someone who has worked with my own personal therapist, I remember well my initial nervousness when making that first phone call – it was one of the hardest things I’ve done, yet ultimately one of the most rewarding.

I offer an initial 15-20 minute free telephone consultation in which we can discuss what brings you to seek help, how therapy works and what you can expect from me as your therapist. During this call, we can start to get a feel for how we might work together and whether we are a good fit, before booking an initial session. I can offer Both in person and online therapy via a Zoom. Research and personal experience have shown that online therapy can be just as effective as working in person, though there are some additional considerations that need to be assessed. If you are interested in online therapy, more details can be found here.
I am a member of the following professional organisations :
BACP Registered Member
Addiction Professionals Advanced Practitioner
SOSI Advanced Somatic Experiencing Trainee
I am committed to work within the BACP Ethical framework for Counsellors and the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as those of of the additional professional organisations I am a member of.

Making the decision to see a therapist for the first time is a big step to take - and it can be a positive one. Please read on to find out more about how I could help you, or contact me.
I work with individual adults aged 18 upwards, including older adults aged 50, 60 and 70+. I am unable to offer counselling to those under 18 years of age or who are in crisis. If this applies to you, links to provide information regarding agencies that may be able to assist can be found here:
